My Story
I’m Robyn, a wife and mother of three: two sons and one daughter. I'm a grandmother to two beautiful kids and a fur mum to my lively two-year-old mini dachshund, Olive, and her gentle 13-year-old sidekick mini schnauzer, Bronson.
My quilting journey began over 25 years ago with a kit my dad purchased at a craft fair for my mum.
After my dad passed, I found the kit and started piecing the squares together and hand quilting it.
This quilt remains one of my most cherished possessions.
In 2004, I designed "All in a Day's Work," this little wall hanging started it all
With support from family and friends, I started Country Hart Designs. "Country" represents where I lived, and "Hart" is my grandmother's maiden name, I know her spirit is always with me.
Over the last 21 years, I’ve showcased my work at craft fairs, owned a patchwork shop in Port Pirie, and offered quilting services with my long-arm quilting machine, Lily. However, I missed the time to design and sew, so I closed the shop and sold Lily. Now, I’m in my happy place working from my Country Hart Studio at home.
I love to draw, that led me to dabble in stitcheries which have now become a big part of my designs along with the applique I have always loved
I hope you find something inspiring in my store.
Hugs,
Robyn.
